The right technology
for your roof.
Learn the differences between TOPCon, mono PERC, bifacial and monofacial panels, and why installation quality matters just as much.

Modern high-efficiency cell architecture often selected where roof space and performance matter. Compare actual module data.
Bifacial modules
Can collect reflected light from the back as well as the front. Gain depends on elevation, surface reflectivity and mounting.
Mono PERC
A well-known crystalline silicon technology with a range of established commercial module models.
What makes a solar system better?
Panel wattage matters, but don't judge a project by a single number. Good mounting, an appropriate inverter, shading study and safe cable routing all affect output and reliability.
- Certified module make, serial numbers and traceability
- Temperature coefficient and long-term degradation
- Correct inverter sizing, surge protection and earthing
- Structural and wind-load design for the site
- Clear warranty, maintenance and handover documentation
590 W bifacial TOPCon module
See how module count and DC capacity relate.
A 590 W rating does not, by itself, prove DCR status or on-grid suitability. DC array size and inverter AC size can differ.
Four things to compare.
Is TOPCon always better than mono PERC?
TOPCon often offers efficiency and temperature-performance advantages, but compare actual datasheets, climate conditions, warranty and installed price.
Are bifacial panels useful on a normal terrace?
They can be, especially with suitable elevation and reflective surfaces. Rear-side gain is not fixed or guaranteed.
How many 590 W panels make 3 kW?
About five panels equal 2.95 kWp and six equal 3.54 kWp. Exact project capacity, inverter sizing and subsidy calculations must follow approved design and portal rules.
Can on-grid solar run during a power cut?
Standard grid-tied inverters stop exporting for anti-islanding safety. Properly designed hybrid and backup systems are different.
